New Delhi, India – National Highway Authority has inaugurated ‘Margsarathy’, a latest tool revolutionizing its processes. This state-of-the-art artificial intelligence based system will completely change the way contract documents are reviewed. Through this, the process of scrutiny and analysis of contracts will now be completed in just a few minutes instead of days, thereby saving huge time and resources.

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials say that Margasarthi will not only identify defects, contradictions and potential dispute risks found in construction contracts but will also speed up decision making.

This will eliminate the need for experts to go through a long and complex vetting process, which earlier was a waste of both time and energy.

A senior NHAI official said, “Because of Margasarathy, our review process has become more effective and accurate. This will not only reduce errors but will also help in identifying potential disputes and resolving them in advance. This will increase the quality of projects and the chances of timely completion.”

Experts believe that with the introduction of this system, There will be a revolutionary change in the development of national highways. India’s infrastructure construction will be strengthened through innovations and modern technology. NHAI has taken this initiative at a time when the demand for road construction and maintenance is increasing rapidly across the country.

This system will be implemented in all important projects in the next few months. This will not only bring purity in the internal functioning of NHAI but will also increase the confidence of investors and the public that excellence and accountability will be maintained in the development of highways.

The industry and technical experts have responded positively to this initiative and it is being considered as a role model for other government departments as well. “Margasarthi” will prove to be an important link in the national infrastructure development in future.
